    From a card sent in by a homeowner (who recently struggled with health issues): “Dear RTO and all the wonderful volunteers, Thank you so much for everything you did on our house; it truly made a difference between night and day!  We are so amazed at the newness of so many things.  We will pray for great happiness for all of you!  God bless you all for your wonderful work.” There was also a letter: “Thank God I’m still alive and can thank you all properly…  It is as though our poor, old, broken house was taken away and replaced with a new house in the same floor plan as the old.   PS: Every repair is extremely appreciated — new clean walls inside and out, new yards, clear garages, new electricity, new wonderful cupboards, new bathroom, bedroom’s beautiful new ceiling, real hot water, EVERYTHING!  But since I’m still trying to recover, being able to have clean and dry clothes without having to leave the house has been so, so helpful.  I know it was very hard to set up.  Every time I use it, I offer another another prayer for all of you.  This practice is now extended to use of any and all new additions: cupboards, bathroom, etc :)” We’re always happy to hear that we’ve improved not just a home, but a life.
